UBM Feed Factory Romania, located in Sânpaul, Mureș county, was built following a 15 million EUR investment and was inaugurated in the spring of 2019. It has a production capacity of approximately 220,000 tons/year and is equipped with state-of-the-art technological flow, being the largest feed factory in Central and Eastern Europe and one of the most modern in Europe.
The factory’s geographical positioning is extremely important. It is easily accessible from all regions of the country for the delivery of finished products and is also located in an area with significant agricultural activity, thus providing a solid raw material market for feed production. For a production of 220,000 tons/year, a quantity of approximately 130-140,000 tons/year of cereals is needed as raw material. These cereals are purchased mainly from the county and Transylvania, significantly contributing to the development of agriculture in the region.
UBM Feed’s main activity is feed production, divided into two categories: industrial production and production for households. We produce high quality feed for all categories of farm animals, including poultry (broilers, laying hens, turkeys), pigs (fattening, reproduction) and ruminants (cattle, sheep). The feeds we produce are available both in bulk and packaged in bags. We offer 5, 10 and 20 kilogram packages to meet the needs of both small and large farms.
