The Freudenberg Shared Service Center (SSC) in Brașov was established in 2006 with the aim of outsourcing part of the headquarters’ activities from Germany. Initially, the operations were focused on customer service for clients of Freudenberg Interlining (now Freudenberg Performance Materials Apparel), a market leader in the fashion industry, well-known to all major clothing manufacturers. Subsequently, the activities diversified, offering clients within the Freudenberg Group data processing services in the fields of accounts receivable, accounts payable, procurement, and IT. In 2019, the client list expanded to include Eagle Burgmann, a leader in sealing technologies, providing development opportunities in finance, IT, and indoor sales.
