În Cluj, Bosch operează o unitate de producţie pentru componente electronice auto din anul 2014. În cadrul fabricii funcţionează, din 2017, şi un Centru de Training cu săli de instruire moderne şi laboratoare de ultimă generaţie, dedicat formării elevilor din cadrul sistemului de învăţământ dual, dar şi pentru dezvoltarea continuă a angajaţilor Bosch.

La fabrica Bosch Cluj, compania produce componente electronice de control pentru domenii precum siguranţă şi confort sau asistenţă la condus, cum ar fi unităţi de control electronice pentru sistemul de propulsie eBike, pentru asistenţă la parcare, dar şi unităţi de control pentru motor şi pentru airbag.

Pentru creşterea competitivităţii şi eficientizarea producţiei, Bosch a implementat în locaţia din Cluj soluţii de Industrie 4.0, cum ar fi MES (Manufacturing Execution System).
